Smaller portions than Sawadee's (but still really good food), more expensive, but a little better atmosphere.

Beautiful spot to walk on the beach or along a path and take in Sequim Bay. They have tables for picnics and it is great at low tide for kids and adults alike!

A bit of a drive, but not too difficult a hike to get to the falls. Beautiful way to experience the Olympic Rainforest.

It's a windy drive up this mountain but worth the trek to see the wildlife and stunning views. Also, fabulous sledding during the winter, yet be sure to check if it's open (usually only Fri/Sat/Sun during the winter) and whether or not they require chains.

This is my happy place! Unique and just plain gorgeous, East Beach on Lake Crescent is about 45 minutes away. The water is shallow for about 100 yards then drops off into one of the deepest lakes in the country that was created by a glacier. Cold and very clear water. Great for kids to play in shallow water. There is bark along the shore, but once you get out a few feet, it has beautiful soft sand, perfect for playing frisbee. Small parking lot and and outhouse-like bathroom. Well worth the drive!

My 2nd favorite place after East Beach to experience Lake Crescent. A bit more sophisticated with a restaurant and real bathrooms. Plus you can rent paddleboards, canoes, kayaks and row boats here. But the shore is rocky so if you aren't renting something or need a restaurant and prefer a sandy beach then stick to East Beach - it's closer anyways.

Picture a rocky beach on a river. Kids seem to love this place with the fairly shallow and fresh water. There is an old picturesque bridge that runs overhead. Unique and close on a hot day if you don't want to make the drive to Lake Crescent.

A nice 20-30 minute hike to an incredible dive spot. Courageous (or crazy) people climb up a rock to different points and jump off. People watch from the bridge and excitedly cheer on the daredevils. You can swim in the chilly and deep waters of Lake Crescent here, but you must jump off the bridge or climb down rocks so East Beach is a better spot for a day of swimming.

A must-see if you haven't had a good laugh in a while. This should probably be at the top of my list! It is a drive through zoo. You feed the animals out of your windows - wheat bread only. If you didn't grab some from Costco, they have it for sale there. So much fun!!!!

Consider a day trip to Victoria on the Black Ball Ferry. It leaves out of Port Angeles and is only a 90 minute sailing time. It drops your right downtown within walking distance of the their beautiful waterfront and many attractions.
