An hours dog walking on the beach is my favourite thing to do. A five minute drive away, we park up at the end where dog walking is permitted year round, and use the ringgo app to pay a small fee to park for the next hour while the dog explores.

History and walks- the site of an Iron Age hill fort, a great place for a long walk. Car parks available in multiple locations around this area of historic interest.

Staying at Christmas? Beach swim day!

Not unique to exmouth, but the annual Christmas Day swim in the sea can be entertaining to watch if you aren’t brave (arguably slightly mad) enough to take part!
