Walking up or going with the Funicular gets You to an area where You can do long or short hikes further in to this area, gravel roads making it possible to push a stroddler even if though there are some uphill walking to do some places. This area is very popular among the locals, especially in the weekends. If You dont feel like doing a hike You may just admire the wiew from the top of Mt Fløyen before returning to the city. The bottom station of the Funicular is placed one minute of walking from this apartment, so are the stairs that begins the walk upwards if You are up to a slight physical challenge.
