We will start by learning how the ingredients used affect the Bagels and the final result. Then we will all measure our ingredients using scales. After that, I will show you how to properly mix and knead the dough which you will do on your own right after me. I have adapted the best Boulanger (Bread Maker) techniques to the home kitchen so you will become a confident baker at home in no time! After mixing the dough, we will learn how to shape the bagels, boil them, dress them up with various toppings, bake them and finally eat them fresh out of the oven! Vous allez commencer votre expérience chevaline par une visite dans notre grand troupeau de 40 chevaux où vous allez avoir la chance de les approcher et les observer dans leur environnement naturel et apprendre des choses interessantes sur eux. Ensuite, chaque client est jumelé avec un cheval selon sa taille et son expérience. Vous allez conduire votre cheval à pied vers l'écurie et vous allez avoir la chance de créer un lien de confiance avec lui en le brossant et en le préparant. Une fois que tout le monde a son casque, nous quittons l'écurie pour aller aux manèges. Une fois sur votre cheval et les étriers ajustés, nous vous donnons une petite formation sur les techniques de conduite. Le manège clôturé est l'endroit idéal pour que chacun puisse tester ses nouvelles connaissances en équitation. Après cette initiation, nous partons en balade dans nos magnifiques sentiers en montagne avec vue splendide sur les Appalaches. À mi-chemin, nous arrêtons en haut de la montagne pour prendre des photos et profiter de la belle vue. Nous terminons l'activité en remerciant notre cheval pour la belle randonnée. À la fin, vous êtes invités à rester plus longtemps pour profiter de l’ambiance et de notre aire de pique-nique, au cas où vous auriez apporté votre goûté. The 100th anniversary of the famed “Cheticamp Hooked Rug” is fast approaching. These rugs, once made to warm the floors, eventually became a source of family income. The women in the area would hook throughout the year and during the quiet Winter months some of the fisherman and lumberjack husbands would join them. It quickly became a cottage industry. This craft has now become a well-known art medium sold across the world as the Chéticamp-style hooked rugs. Come share in this little piece of our local Acadian history by participating in one or more classes offered to all. The classes are available to people of all levels; from those who have never held a “hook”, to those who wish to perfect their skills. Come join us once or as often as you desire. Some classes we have local recognized “hookers” joining us. Tuesday days 130-300 and 6-730 night classes are held at Le Conseil des Arts Père Anselme Chiasson (located at the school next to the church, 15118 Cabot Trail, Chéticamp). For a more private class, all other classes are held in my home. Individual classes at $75. We do offer group rates for a minimum of 6 people. Learn a new art form while having loads of fun!

You'll notice that group sizes are limited to 6. This is because our experience is intimate and exclusive. Vivez la vie de musher le temps d'une matinée! Venez rencontrer nos chiens de traineau et visiter les coulisses de notre chenil, qui héberge une soixantaine de chiens nordiques de type husky. Accueilli par un guide passionné, vous ferez connaissance avec la meute, découvrirez le mode de vie de nos chiens et nos efforts en faveur de leur bien-être. Vous apprendrez à lire le comportement des chiens, et vous serez initié aux secrets de la vie de musher dans le nord du Québec. C'est le moment de poser toutes vos questions! Chaque chien a son histoire, son caractère et ses petites habitudes... La plupart adorent les câlins! Après avoir fait connaissance, vous aurez le plaisir d'avoir des contacts privilégiés avec les chiens, et d'immortaliser ces moments. Certains jours, en fonction de la météo et du temps disponible, nous prendrons le temps d'une courte sortie avec les chiens pour les laisser se dégourdir les pattes. Avant de partir, vous pourrez participer aux soins quotidiens: brossage, distribution de l'eau et le grand moment très intense de la distribution de nourriture. Nos visites du chenil ont lieu tous les matins à 10h.

Whether it's to de-stress or just for the novelty of it, the Rage Room is an awesome activity to do. It's pretty simple, choose from a variety of glass items and electronics, suit up in our complete protective gear and break stuff. A signed waiver is required to participate in this activity. You must be 18 years or older and will be asked to provide proof if deemed required (or 16-17, with a parent). Please keep in mind, you are breaking glass items and electronics, so this experience is not for the faint-hearted. Other things to note When you arrive, you'll have to sign a waiver before starting the experience. The Rage Cage can accommodate up to 4-5 people at a time. Let me know if you would like to add people. Please note that if you wish to change the date and/or time of your booking less than 48 hours in advance, there will be a 10$ surcharge/person.

This will be a guided walking tour for the city of Ottawa, going to the places where locals hang-out. We will be going to beautiful places on the river and in downtown Ottawa, as well as explore the paths under the Parliament of Canada. After the tour I can point you to other fun activities and things to do around the city! This tour is very chill and family friendly, you only need yourself and your spirit of exploration! Other things to note. I will be waiting for you near the big metal spider, from there we will commence our tour. After the tour you can choose to go back to the starting place or I can point you to other places to visit.
